Luxury building “The Escala” hosts Christian Grey in Fifty Shades of Grey Movie

It turns out that the condo Christian Grey calls home, which hosts many of the book’s steamiest scenes, really does exist.

The Escala is a luxury building with a 360-degree view of downtown Seattle. A 5,200- quare-foot penthouse, like the one found in the book, costs between $4 and $6 million. Basic models begin at $400,000.

Escala homes are spacious with floor-to-ceiling windows, large decks and features and amenities you’d expect from a lavishly built home. The location sets you in the midst of the shops, restaurants and theaters of downtown.

According to their website, two bedroom units are available from $619,000 to $1.6 Million. Each unit has semi-private elevators, plus access to a fitness center, full-service concierge, private movie theatre for 20, dog run, car wash and the services of Columbia Hospitality.
