After 3 extremely successful years, Clerkenwell Design Week (CDW) has established itself as the UK’s leading independent design festival and one of the most acclaimed trade events on the international design calendar, winning Best Festival and Best Cultural Event at the UK Event Awards 2012 to attest to its significance.
Boasting over 60 showrooms, a wealth of creative businesses and more top architects per square mile than anywhere else on the planet, Clerkenwell is the UK’s most flourishing design community and CDW is recognised as a leading voice and must-visit event in the design world.
CDW takes place in Clerkenwell, London, EC1 – the hear and home of the UK’s design industry. During three days, from 21st to 23rd of May, boasting over 60 showrooms, a wealth of creative businesses and more architects per square mile than anywhere else on the planet, CDW will take advantage of this creative hub.
This 3 day festival hosts an array of the world’s most notable design, architectural and creative names, in addition to an exciting programme of workshops, presentations, product launches and debates.
CDW will have the showrooms of some of the world’s leading brands and products involved in Clerkenwell Design Week- and right on their doorstep! Brands like Arper, Cassina, Cappellini, Knoll, Vitra, among many others will have their showroom on the event.
Clerkenwell is home to over 60 showrooms, a multitude of architectural and creative practices. This cultural hub is the perfect location to host an international festival that celebrates all disciplines of design. With over 150 events, a series of pop up exhibitions, installations, talks, performances, music and workshops, the festival is a showcase of cutting edge design from some of the biggest names in the industry. In 2010 the design community flocked to Clerkenwell with over 18000 registered, 2011 promises to be bigger and better!
In 2012, the design community flocked to Clerkenwell with over 30,000 registered attendees.

CDW2013 will showcase top brands in their 3 main hub exhibition venues (The Farmiloe Building, The Order of St. John and The House of Detention) including Magis, Foscarini, Zanotta, Emu and Vitamin, Deadgood, Dare Studio, Se London and Boca Do Lobo.
