For those wood houses in the Alpes, she decided to use natural materials – a mix of wood and metal for example – creating a perfect frame for pieces of art and contemporary design. Alexandra de Pfyffer gives special importance to aesthetics, even if she appreciates the pleasant feeling given by the fact to be comfortable at home (which is a special characteristic of the feminine interior designer). The sofas are generous and deep, covered by pillows, there are big fireplaces and designed mirrors, she uses sophisticated fabrics and wallpapers often brushed with gold and silver.
She catches her inspiration on her travels around the world, looking for furniture and objects full of originality while keeping an eye on the evolution of styles by her visits to shows. She sees herself as an orchestra chef joining plenty of talents.
