For those wood houses in the Alpes, she decided to use natural materials – a mix of wood and metal for example – creating a perfect frame for pieces of art and contemporary design. Alexandra de Pfyffer gives special importance to aesthetics, even if she appreciates the pleasant feeling given by the fact to be comfortable at home (which is a special characteristic of the feminine interior designer). The sofas are generous and deep, covered by pillows, there are big fireplaces and designed mirrors, she uses sophisticated fabrics and wallpapers often brushed with gold and silver.
