A Blend of Comfort and Innovation by Rabih Hage – Hage’s work is all encompassing ranging from designs for beautiful furniture for private clients to the creation of design concepts with a commercial approach for his corporate clients. He contributes frequently to various publications and his work has been recognized with numerous awards from the design industry, such as the Andrew Martin International Interior Designer of the Year Award 2011, Homes & Gardens Award for Interior Design 2012, and consistent nomination by House and Garden and Architectural Digest (France) as one of the Top 100 leading designers since 2002.
Hage graduated from the École des Beaux Arts (Paris La-Seine) in 1991, and started his career working in various architecture practices and engineering firms, such as Arcora Group, and Viguier et Jodry, winning numerous architectural competitions individually and in association with various partners, such as the Textile Museum of Lyon in 1988. Between 1989 and 1991, Hage worked on hi-tech commercial projects including the landmark works of the TGV Train stations of Paris Montparnasse and Nantes.
In 1992, Hage established an architecture studio in partnership with multidisciplinary colleagues adding a variety of business and creative skills dealing with projects from concept to execution, including cost consulting services in collaborating with the American firm Marshall & Swift. He led the practice working on urban planning projects in Portugal as well as historical buildings and chateaux in France. His clients ranged form family estates to institutional clients such as Dresdner Kleinwort Bank, Avip Allianz Group. Focusing on heritage buildings in this period, he enjoyed “turning a ruin into something interesting”.

Carlow House – London, England
This is a landmark building with striking art deco façade and retained warehouse features with a lofty entrance foyer with exposed brick and industrial wall finishes. The scheme has an impressive four storey atrium lightwell with floating planters at upper levels.
The Chilterns Signature Kitchen – London, England
Many designs of kitchens have been done to show the beauty of the equipment and the functionality of the space, our design is made to hide the functionality of the kitchen behind sleek pocket doors and show the beauty of the space. The idea behind the kitchen is to create an open living and entertainment space that has constant beauty weather the kitchen has the functionally set up (open onto its appliances) or the library set up (behind functioning grand hotel style bar).
